Based in Orrell Park, Chrissy's Cakes was founded by Christine Faulds. Chrissy has always loved to bake and in 2011 found she could use her creative flair to create edible art in the form of cakes. Chrissy soon started to get inundated with requests from family and friends and finally took the plunge to set up her full time business working from her family home to provide a personal service.
Chrissy is mainly self taught but has undertaken some professional training with Tracy James of Cottons & Crumbs & Faye Cahill of Faye Cahill Cake school to develop her skills further. With 8 years experience and a huge passion for creating, Chrissy can provide you with all your cakery needs. Chrissy is wonderfully perceptive, which allows her to fully understand what the customer wants and to put it into practice.
An expert in wedding cakes, celebration cakes, cupcakes and vintage themes, Chrissy's work has been featured at the international cake awards in Manchester where she won both bronze and silver awards.
Chrissy is meticulous in her work, which ensures that hygiene is a huge priority and the customer's satisfaction is paramount. The cake studio has a 5 star food hygiene rating from the council and Chrissy has completed a Level 2 Hygiene Certificate.
